To tie and bind or to bind and tie - that is the question!

I have answered the question as to what to do first with the 1930's baby quilt I'd like to finish:

I noticed that in the "tie a quilt" video, the binding was not attached before she tied the quilt.

I plan on trying out these two techniques.

Because the back and binding were already basted onto the quilt top, I went ahead and tied the quilt....
