It was challenging choosing the layout for the blocks.
How'd I do?
Tomorrow night (4/7/11) - sorry the date on my camera is incorrect -
I'll head up to the local quilt shop's beginning quilting class and work
out how to add the sashing and borders! I'll post more soon....
thanks for checking back - I appreciate your comments very much
and try to get back to every one as soon as possible.
Are you taking a beginning quilt class, or thinking about it?
Have you been quilting for a while or even several years,
but haven't used this technique before?
If you have used this technique, do you have
any suggestions for me?
Thank you!
Mary Ann @ RocknQuilts

I love the colors you've chosen. It looks like you're doing a great job without any suggestions!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Linda! Coming from someone who designs her own patterns and all, that is quite a nice compliment and it boosts my morale alot!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the great pictures of how to do this. I am probably going to give it a try, I may just do one block at a time and then join them, I'll have to decide that next.
ReplyDeleteYour blocks are beautiful! I love seeing your progress through this method.
ReplyDeleteHi Mary Ann,
ReplyDeleteYour blocks are so colorfully confident! Great pictures and fabric combinations. Glad I stopped by to see your creations.
I like your blocks! I'm just getting back into sewing and there is no way all my corners would match up so nicely! :)
