Thank you for commenting! I really enjoyed seeing the 1800s quilt with red background and pieced stars, not to mention the unfinished 1930s hexagon quilt. The bear claw quilt also used bear claw/foot print fabric which was catchy! The little Singer machine was a 1951 Singer featherweight that uses electricity. The gal said that she bought it from Ebay for about $200. It has such a nice, long neck (I'm thinking of free motion possibilities) and is quite light. She mentioned that she bought it for use at classes. Do you have any antique sewing machines? I'm thinking of looking for them this summer at estate sales - it would be fun hunting for one!
