Thrifty Easter Finds = money for gifting!

What's more fun than shopping?

How 'bout shopping with someone who has similar taste?

And how 'bout finding deals that are steals?!?

...and with the money saved from not stopping in to a department store for brand new items...I was able to donate to the Red Cross for relief to Japan!

Here's a few my daughter and I found today:

These bunnies were hopping all over the thrift store - they hail from Avon, 1982, and were made in Brazil.  They were from 25 cents to $2.50...

These cute chicks were too adorable to pass up, esp. at $1.50 for the pair!

This little bunny with one ear up and one ear down just caught my heart :-)

Katie found a pair of little lanterns for $2.99
and I bought the hexies quilty notecards at the Heritage Center
during the International Quilting Festival held there last weekend...

and for a whopping 35 cents, I bought eight Mary Engelbreit notecards...I just love her work!

It was a good day for thrifting and gifting!
I found a set of white china dishes with silver trim for only $20 and am thinking of going back to get them...it even included the sugar and creamer...they'd be really nice and match with many other dishes...
but do I want to part with $20 for dishes or save it to buy fabric?

I donated to the Red Cross today for relief to Japan when I visited Wells Fargo Bank.
When you use their ATM, you can select "donation" and it'll be sent directly
to the Red Cross and the ATM prints you a receipt.
It was easy to do and I encourage you to do the same if possible.
